My practice is not in-network with any insurance providers and does not accept insurance.

If you have insurance, I recommend you contact your carrier and inquire about any out-of-network behavioral health care benefits you may have as part of your plan. Many people are surprised to find they do have some coverage in this area.

If you wish to submit to your insurance for reimbursement for out-of-network services, I can work with you by providing you with superbills, at your request. These superbills provide information to your insurance carrier so they can process your out-of-network reimbursement claim.

Please note that a superbill includes your mental health diagnosis, meaning part of your protected health information (PHI) would be shared with your provider in order for them to process the billing and payment. Please carefully consider your privacy and any concerns about your mental health records in choosing to use your insurance benefits.

Insurance generally does not reimburse for missed session fees and only pays for services provided to those who meet specific diagnostic criteria. Feel free to ask more about this in your intake call.

I offer a limited number of lower-fee session slots, based on financial need, which are available until filled. Please request information about availability of these slots in your initial communication. If you are requesting a low-fee slot, Creative Counseling Nashville, PLLC reserves the right to request specific details about your current financial situation.

I love working with clients in person! My in person office is located in Nashville, TN in East Nashville.

I am also happy to offer virtual sessions for clients in Tennessee and Ohio. Clients must be physically present in TN or OH for the session.

I am familiar with a number of religions and spiritual orientations and have worked with clients with a wide array of beliefs. I also have experience supporting clients recovering from religious trauma or high-control religious environments — learn more about my background or feel free to ask about this directly.

Unfortunately my Nashville office is not ADA accessible. It is located on the second floor and there is no elevator in our office building.

Creative Counseling Nashville accepts all major credit, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. With HSA/FSA cards, a backup card on file is requested.
